Haha, there is a slight issue there, that's true. Doesn't stop me using scissors though.

Well, i put this to the test this eve, and while scissors cut pizza really well, there is the risk of burning your fingers!!

Rob, scissors are clearly superior to the pizza cutter at cutting pizza.

Rob - I think we already covered the pizza point. It was felt by both myself and Simon that scissors cut pizza better, due largely to the topping displacement so often caused by a pizza cutter - the tendancy to drag the topping with it while parting the base.

Jon - green beans, eh? A good tip!

I'd like to protest about comments made on the conclusion page. You seem to imply that the scissors are better than the pizza cutter at cutting pizza - but this is not true. The experiment was born out of your mistaken belief that this was the case, and as the experiment has clearly shown, the pizza cutter is a better kitchen implement there is - and hence by extension is better at cutting pizza.

Glad you've both enjoyed it :)

Maeve - you entered "none" into the website box when you posted a comment, which I assume means you don't have one. This is of course fine, but it actually creates a link, which opens the Sixpence None The Richer Site! (I've just checked, and it does this in Firefox, but not from IE - weird! Try typing just "none", no http:// or www. or .com/.uk/.etc, just "none" into the address bar in Firefox).

Anyway, just to let you know that you can leave that box blank if you don't want to link to anywhere. I've now removed the phony link from your post - however, if you did intend to send us to Sixpence None The Richer, then I apologise and will put it back!
